Affiliate Marketing Business - 3 Types of Landing Page to Boost Your Affiliate Earnings

Many new affiliate marketers make the common mistake of just redirecting the traffic directly to the affiliate product’s sale page that they are promoting. According to research, a person will need at least 6 times of follow-ups before he or she will make a purchase.

They will need to be “warmed up” first before they will decide to make a purchase decision. Therefore it is important for you to create different types of landing page that will warm the prospects up.

1. First Type – A landing page with opt-in form. This type of landing page will force your visitors to enter their first names and email addresses before they can proceed further. Once they have given their information, they will be redirected to the product page itself. In this case, these people who have given you their information have proven degrees of interest. You can then follow up with them even though they do not buy during the first visit to your affiliate product page.

2. Second Type – A landing page which provides product review. To use this type of landing page, you will need to provide your visitors honest feedbacks, including those positives as well as negative feedbacks that the product has received. It is important that you have bought the product yourself, so that you can give your first-hand feedback on it before you start recommending to your prospects. Do not make this page sounds like a pitching sales page.

3. Second Type – A landing page which soft sells. In this type of landing page, you will feed your prospects with a little background on the benefits of the product that you are going to recommend. This will warm the prospects up before you redirect them to the actual sales page.

You can also combine the different types of landing pages together. For example, you can provide a landing page which will first capture their information. Once they have given you, instead of directing your subscribers straight to the sales page, you can give them a little background information about the product first so as to warm them up.
